Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2017 will be conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) tentatively from the second week of May to last week of May 2017. BITSAT 2017 will be conducted for admissions to Integrated First Degree Programmes of Engineering at the university and its campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

BITSAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria
- For admission to all programmes (except B.Pharma): Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Subjects
- For admission in B.Pharma: Candidates must have cleared 12th or equivalent exam with PCB or PCM group with English subject.
- Candidates must have obtained 75% marks in PCB or PCM group.
- Candidates appearing in qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
- Aspirants who have passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or earlier are not eligible to apply.
BITSAT 2017 Exam Pattern
The examination paper will come in computer based test format. Candidates can choose their examination Centre as per their convenience. Examination will be conducted for 3 hours. There will be total 150 MCQs on Physics, General English, Chemistry and Math/ Biology subjects. For each correct answer, candidate will be rewarded 3 marks and for each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

BITSAT 2017 Application form: How to Apply?
It will be possible to obtain the application form from January, 2017 onwards and last date to apply online is March, 2017. Candidates are eligible to apply for the exam only once, however if they have committed any mistake in their first application then they can move to apply second time. In this case, candidates will be required to send a letter to the concerned authority regarding the same.
